The biography for each nominee will be considered by an independent, anonymous committee of local community leaders as judges. These judges will remain anonymous even to each other until they meet to discuss and select the 2022 inductees. Each judge will receive copies of all of the biographies ahead of time. Their decision will be based only on the biography submitted for each nominee.
Voting by the committee of judges will take place in May and the results will be announced in the local newspapers and on the HIASAA website www.highlandilalumni.com in June. The Hall of Fame Induction and Breakfast will take place in the fall at Highland High School Bulldog Square. Information for obtaining tickets for the event will be available and published in the newspapers in August.
