Robert Scott Tibbetts - Arts & Sciences
Robert “Scott” Tibbetts graduated from Highland High School in 1964. During his senior year of high school, Scott co-hosted the “Teen Beat Show” at WIN-U Radio in Highland.
After high school, Scott continued to work at WIN-U Radio, the WYNA Radio in Raleigh, North Carolina, WAME Radio in Charlotte North Carolina, where he was awarded Billboard Magazine Disc Jockey of the year for 1971. He also worked for WUBE/WKRC Radio in Cincinnati, Ohio. From 1978 to 1980, Scott worked as Account Director for Conradi Johnson Advertising in St. Louis. Scott returned to the air in 1980 with KMOX Radio, doing the afternoon “At Your Service” with Bob Osborne and part-time news with Jack Carney. Mr. Tibet's was also one of the hosts of “Hot Hit Video”, one of the first TV shows featuring music videos with KMOV-TV. Additionally, he broadcast the morning drive show and was Program Director at KTHR. At that particular time, CBS FM group had more listeners than any other FM group in the history of broadcasting.
Currently Scott is the International spokesperson for Lennox Corp., shooting approximately 600 commercials a year throughout North America. Scott does many trade shows and personal appearances portraying the founder, Dave Lennox.
