Ron Jacober graduated from St. Paul High School in 1956 and from SIUC in 1961 with a BA in Science from the School of Communications. Ron also served in the U.S. Army. Since 1970 Ron has worked for KMOX radio in St. Louis serving as an announcer, sportscaster, and Sports Director. Starting in January 2007 Ron has been working part-time and continues to host the award winning Sports on a Sunday Morn- ing. Additionally, Ron served as a sportscaster for KSDK-TV from 1971-1985. Ron has had the privilege to work several big sporting events - World Series, Super Bowls, Stanley Cups, NCAA Final Four basketball tournaments, and the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. The recipient for numerous broadcasting and journalism awards for his work, Ron is a member of the St. Louis Radio Hall of Fame and the St. Louis Media Hall of Fame.
